  also named as defendants in the case is watchtower bible and tract society of new york, which oversees the church, and a former elder, who has not been charged with a crime.. attempts to reach the jehovahs witnesses kingdom hall in los lunas for comment were unsuccessful before the news-bulletin deadline.. according to the civil lawsuit, jaramillo allegedly was sexually abused as a child by the elder, who had served as a ministerial servant and an elder, which are leadership positions in the congregation.

  Note that the Elders are not saying the rape didn't happen, they're saying that this sister must demonstrate SUBMISSION by now putting her own daughters at risk! WTF is wrong with these idiots? They are mentally diseased!

  I tried to contact the man behind the movie. No contact information for him is available anywhere on the internet, so I write to one of the 3 or 4 websites involved in promoting TBT and request contact. No relpy. Does he have a staff or is it all entourage and groupies?

  I can think of three XJW movie projects that I have heard of in the past couple of years that have been express trains to NOWHERE.

  TBT is yet another object lesson in how to run a failed campaign.

  Simple Signs That Cause Jehovah's Witnesses To Lose Morale (Faith In The Governing Body Corporation Kings)

  a good way to get the jws doubting corporation leadership, is lower their morale in the governing body.

  pointing out their stupidity, authoritarianism, delusions of grandure, and the depts of their wishful thinking bias done in such a way to overide watchtower inplanted prejudice.. highlighting the phobias they have of apostates, their attitude toward children as nothing more that corporation free labor denying them education and handing them over to pedofiles in the congregation be they elders or microphone handlelers.. signs about doctrinal issues are a waste of time but i can't deny that some may benifit but that's just getting them out of one cult and making them pray for another.

  anyway the bible is too full of shit to argue doctrine, much better to stay away from it and proceed to spend more time get oneself free from that residual mind control you're still clinging to that's based in the bible.. what are your ideas?.

  Like Englishman, I inherited mitral valve prolapse and its accompanying a-fib*. My valve was repaired - reinforced with a plastc ring, and the a-fib took two sessions of catheter ablation to finally clear (after the first cath on the left nodes I was left with an a-flutter - better than a-fib but not normal) the second catheter ablation was on the right side, and that did the trick). Unlike Englishman, I am still fairly sedentary.

  *I was also diagnosed with sleep apnea. I havn't used my CPAP since I came home from the hosital following my heart surgery. If YOU have sleep apnea - periodic cessation of breathing while you are asleep, PLEASE seek treatment of the apnea (a CPAP) and, if you can, go further to get the underlying cause of the apnea resolved. DO NOT rely on what your CPAP techs and their RNs tell you; they have a vested interest in keeping you on CPAP - they SELL YOU continuing supplies and service. I asked the RN I was working with if she ever had someone recover to the point of not needing the CPAP any longer and she said no. To me the goal of medicine is RECOVERY (healing) not maintaining the status quo. You have to participate in your healing by being your own best medical advocate.

  i continue to puzzle over the future direction the watchtower is taking.

  it seems very strange.. let's review: they are selling everything off in brooklyn, raking in huge sums from that real estate and building heavily in a fairly isolated part of upstate ny.. why?.

  it may be classified as a country club (legally).

  Thanks to Google maps I was able to take a virtual stroll down the main road in Loch Sheldrake, and it has a kind of post-apocalyptic "Walking Dead" (TV series) look to it, and there was a synagog, right on the main drag! Did these folks bring a casket-full of their native soil with them when they moved there?

  The comment by Jim_TX about isolating the bethel boys is an interesting one - anyone in any NYC congregation has heard the stories about the various recreational difficulties some of the boys have gotten into. Will the WTB&TS be raising their own sheep? I hear wedding bells!

  minimus inspired me to recall a crazy conversation i had with a houseguest at my home while i was one of jw's and even serving.

  i had a houseguest say that she couldn't sleep all night, and then she found a birthday card in her friends room that someone at work gave her innocently enough.

  she burned it and said she could finally sleep.. i asked her if she knew how long ago her friends birthday was?

  One of those legal database might be "Lexis/Nexis" L/N has a lower-cost option suited to SERIOUS individuals (what I mean is serious enough to be willing to pay a small fee. Anyone who expects roasted pigeons to fly into into their mouths (e.g. everything is free) is SOL, and deservedly so.
